Fenilefrina possono interferire con il controllo del glucosio nel sangue e ridurre l'efficacia di insulina glulisine e altri farmaci per diabetici. Monitorare i vostri livelli di zucchero nel sangue da vicino. Potrebbe essere necessario un aggiustamento della dose dei vostri farmaci per diabetici durante e dopo il trattamento con fenilefrina. È importante informare il vostro medico su tutti gli altri farmaci in uso, tra cui le vitamine e le erbe. Non smettere di usare i farmaci senza prima parlare con il medico.

MONITOR: L'efficacia di insulina e altri farmaci antidiabetici può essere diminuita da alcuni farmaci, compresi i farmaci antipsicotici atipici, corticosteroidi, diuretici, gli estrogeni, i gnrh-agonisti, ormone umano della crescita, fenotiazine, progestinici, inibitori della proteasi, simpaticomimetici ammina, ormoni tiroidei, L-asparaginasi, alpelisib, copanlisib, danazolo, diazossido, isoniazide, megestrolo, omacetaxine, fenitoina, tagraxofusp, temsirolimus, così come farmacologica dosi di acido nicotinico e adrenocorticotropo agenti. Questi farmaci possono interferire con il controllo del glucosio nel sangue che può causare iperglicemia, intolleranza al glucosio, di nuova insorgenza di diabete mellito e/o esacerbazione di un diabete preesistente.

GESTIONE: si consiglia Cautela quando i farmaci che possono interferire con il metabolismo del glucosio sono prescritti per i pazienti con diabete. Uno stretto monitoraggio clinico del controllo glicemico è raccomandato dopo l'inizio o la sospensione di questi farmaci e i dosaggi concomitante di farmaci antidiabetici opportunamente rettificati. I pazienti devono essere informati per informare il loro medico se il glucosio nel sangue è elevato o se si verificano i sintomi di una grave iperglicemia, quali sete eccessiva e aumenta il volume e la frequenza della minzione.
